RESCUES AND RE-HOMERS

LOOKING TO GO HOME WITH YOU!

First Steps

  1. Prior to adopting a Rescue rabbit, an Adoption Request Form needs to be filled out. Please
E-mail us to get this Adoption Form to continue with adoption.

  2. An adoption application will be sent to you once we receive your request. Check your spam folder.

  3. Include in your email, your name, your phone number (this way we can contact you when we send you the application) and if you live far away. We can try to help you find that perfect bunny. If you live far away, and are accepted to adopt, you can likely pick up your bunny on your appointment day.

  4. If a bunny is not showing a bio, that means they are not ready yet, and still in the intake process. You still can adopt them. They just won’t be ready to leave the rescue for 3-7 days.

  5. If a bunny is in pending status, they are already going through an adoption process. If a bunny is on hold, it could be it is showing signs of a sickness, is hurt or has babies, or is on old for a variety of other reasons. You can still adopt but they will have to stay here until we think they are ready for adoption.

All bunnies that leave here do have a 7-day guarantee bunniesrusrabbitry@hotmail.com

All adoption fees run from $30-$160 depending on age, breed and care of the bunny. All fees include starter food, hay and litter and a folder filled with information about your bunny.

We are working hard on getting most of the bunnies spayed/neutered. This is so exciting to add to our new adventure. Getting Bunnies spayed/neutered is a very high cost. Because of this, our adoption prices will also be going up. But this will help you have a better potty trained, happier, and healthier bunny. It depends on what the re-homer pays when dropping a bunny off on what a cost will be for a bunny. Please bear with us if you see adoption prices go up.

Thank you for supporting Bunnies-R-Us Rescue.

Lop-Earred Bunnies

  • Amelia ($125)

    Satin, lop mix, female, rescue

    BD: 9-6-24

    Weight: 2.4

Amelia was found at a park, she was left there to do. She is very young and so cruel. Thank goodness she had an angel looking over her. She will lop her ears but most of the time they are up. She is a little timid at first, but over all so sweet. She needs lots of loving to show her, life is not the way it was prior. She is right now with Evie, Graceland and Grace she seems to really enjoy their company she can go with a playmate or alone

  • Cricket ($125)

    Holland lop, male

    BD: 4-30-24

    Weight: 5.2

Cricket is a very sweet boy. He was with an owner who had no education on bunnies, so he was in a very small cage, with a very small water bowl. The family said he was getting aggressive, but we don't see this side at all. He is super friendly, very loving and will put his head down when you pet him. I don't think he was handled at all and was stuck in a cage that turned him aggressive. But now he is thriving and is a super good boy. He does well with cats and dogs and, as long as he has someone loving him all the time, he would do fine in any home. You can't help but love him.

  • Diamond ($125)

    Satin, lop mix, Female, Rescue

    BD: 5-5-24

    Weight: 5.3

Diamond has a very strong personality. It seems that her family moved out and left her behind and she is struggling with this. She is very scared but improving. She has troubles of you picking her up, but once you have her she is okay. She will lunge but has not bitten. I believe her hormones are also very high. If she gets spayed she could be a good bunny. She just needs someone to love her full time and can work with her. She is fun to watch when playing. She needs to go to a home who can work with her, she would not be good with kids at this point

  • Evie ($150)

    Holland lop, Female

    BD: 9-20-24

    Weight: 1.5

  • Francisco ($50)(ADOPTED)

    Holland lop, Male

    BD: 7-23-18

    Weight: 5.0

I wish all bunnies were like Francisco. He is so friendly, loves his cuddles, loves to be near you. But very calm and good while he is in his cage. He does have a Teddy bear that he loves, almost too much lol. But besides him always on his teddy bear you can’t go wrong with this boy. He is older but that is what makes him calmer and more special. I think he would do better in a quieter home or kids not picking on him, otherwise he is the best boy ever. Mainly potty trained but sometimes he gets lazy

  • Jace ($150)

    Angora lop, Male, Rescue

    BD: 4-14-24

    Weight: 3.3

Jace came in as a rescue from another rescue. He is shy at first but he is starting to thrive. He acts a little scared at first but also is always at the cage begging for you to pet him. He seems really bright and just wants to know what is going on around his surroundings. He was matted when he was found so the other rescue did shave him so he will have longer hair when it grows back. He will not need much extra care with his fur. Just a brushing once in awhile will help it stay long and gorgeous. He might need a quieter home but I think he will adopt once he learns he is now okay and loved.

  • Nymmers ($80)

    Holland lop, female

    BD: 11-14-20

    Weight: 4.9

Nymmers would be a great one to have spayed or to have a playmate that is neutered. She is very sassy, but also very potty trained. I don’t think she has been held much or worked with so she thinks it is okay to lunge at you. She can be sweet once you hold her, but it takes time to get there. She has not bit, but she lunges and could have that in her if she gets mad enough. She would not be good with kids at all, she needs to go to a home where someone can work with.

  • Pepper ($125)

    lop mix, Rescue

    BD: 2-20-24

    Weight: 3.7

Pepper is a sweet and very normal young boy. He was dumped in the park with Phoenix. Not sure if they were at the same house, but he is a good boy. He was attacked by a small animal and his ear was bit and so was his nose. His nose is healing and looking good. He loves to play but is sloppy on using the litter pan, although he is showing improvements while here. He would be a good bunny for anyone who wants to love him.

  • Reaper ($60)

    Lion, lop, Male

    BD: 6-6-19

    Weight: 5.0

Reaper is one of a kind boy, he is very dramatic for a boy. He will lunge when you feed him, not at you but because he thinks he is starving. He will hide and act like he doesn’t want out of the cage, but once you hold him, he will be your buddy forever. He has been here way to long, he was adopted, but the family had a death and couldn’t care for him any longer. This boy needs to go to a calmer home, I don’t think he would be good with kids because when he lunges he might scare them. He does not bite at all, its just his personality. Please consider this boy, he really needs everyday loving. He would be great with someone who has had bunnies prior

  • Samantha ($150)

    Holland lop, spayed female

    BD: 3-29-24

    Weight: 5.2

Samantha is really looking for a lifetime partner. She was born here, she is now spayed. But this girl was born at a rescue and knows nothing but. She was bonded with her sister for a long time, till she got adopted. We then put her with three other males and they all went without her. She really needs a mate, she likes having one. Samantha does not always like to be held, she is doing better now she is spayed. She is potty trained and she really needs roam to roam and no what it is like to have a home. She can be timid with younger kids since she has not been near any. She needs a home with adults and a partner this will help her shine and be that loving bunny she can be.

  • Tabitha ($100)

    Mini lop, Female

    BD: 7-10-23

    Weight: 6.5

    Tabitha is bonding with Teddy

Tabitha loves her Teddy and I really want these two to stay together. Teddy is super sweet too but being a New Zeeland these two might get over looked. Tabitha is a little shy and doesn’t always like to be held but will lay next to you and give you lots of loving. She is totally potty trained. They both really need to find a home so they can roam and be happy. Don’t adopt a dog or cat these two are pretty much all you need. They are a cute couple. You can’t go wrong with these two

  • Turbo ($150)

    Holland lop, Male

    BD: 9-20-24

    Weight: 1.2

  • Toffee ($80)

    Mini lop, Male, Rescue

    BD: 11-1-22

    Weight: 5.3

This boy was thrown to the streets, he was full of fleas when he came in. He looked so sad but thankful someone found him. He is one of my sweetest boys here. He can’t wait for you to pet him, can’t wait for you to play with him, he just will eat up your attention. He’s hold time is a little low but he will sit with you all day as long as your petting him. You can’t go wrong with this boy. He using the litter pretty good, but needs works. He would be terrific with kids

  • Zayla ($125)

    Mini Lop, Female

    BD: 3-23-23

    Weight: 6.5

Zayla is a very good girl. Very laid back, happy in her own little world. She does not need much to entertain her. She is happy lying around the house. She will let you pick her up, she will let you carry her around, she just doesn’t care. She is potty trained. I would love to see her get spayed so she can have a partner, for she just looks sad all the time. I think if she had a partner she would play more and be more active. She would do great in any home. This one is a rare sweet girl

Lion Heads/lion head mix

  • Chilla ($60)

    Lion head, female

    BD: 5-10-24

    Weight: 4.7

Chilla and Millie are bonded sisters

Chilla is very laid back, she loves to chew on timothy hay logs. She is a little shy and needs time to adjust, but she comes out of it pretty fast. She just needs to stick to her routine so she knows what is next then she is fine. She might out grow this as she gets older. She is potty trained. She just needs someone to love her

  • Bandit ($60)

    Lion head, Male, Rescue

    BD: 5-10-24

    Weight: 3.7

Bandit and Bear are brothers, but they are not together. He is very shy compare to his brother and needs time to adjust. Bandit is calmer but still likes to play a lot. He loves his toys and tunnels. He just will need time to adjust, once he trusts you, he will let you love on him. He might do better in a home with calmer kids.

  • Bear ($60)

    Lion head, male, Rescue

    BD: 5-10-24

    Weight: 3.6

Bear and Bandit are brothers. They are not together. Bear is a sweet but hyper boy. He is just looking for someone to love him. He would be great with someone who will give him lots and toys and lots of love. He could play all day if he could. He is young and working on using the litter pan. But you can pick him up, love on him and then off he wants to play. He would do good in any home.

  • Checkers ($40)

    Lionhead, Male, Rescue

    BD: 2-28-23

    Weight: 2.5

Checkers had a rough life before coming here. He was living in a home that had over 15 animals, bunnies, dogs and cats. The family then ended up in the street and Checkers and Zorro were in a trunk of a car when they were dropped off. Tux was in the back seat in a small cage. Checkers has come a long ways since he has been here. He is starting to be so sweet. He lets you pick him up, and he loves taking treats from your hand. He might run when you first open the cage, but as soon as you have him, he will melt into your hands. He just wants to be loved. He would do great in any home.

  • Dice ($40)

    Lionhead, Male, Rescue

    BD: 10-11-23

    Weight: 4.4

Dice came in as a rescue. He was crossing a street when he was almost hit. When the person realized what he was, he stopped the car and was able to grab Dice right away. Dice is super sweet, but he is working on trust. He is just shy, but the more he is here, the more he is starting to shine. Unsure of other animals, but he would do great with kids.

  • Dixie ($60)

    Lion head, female

    BD: 3-9-20

    Weight: 3.8

Dixie has a sponsor to be spayed. If you want to adopt her before we get her in, you do not have to pay any extra costs, she will be spayed free thanks to a sponsor,

Dixie has the biggest eyes but she is one of the friendliest girls I have. She loves her snuggles, you can hold her for a long time and she doesn’t care. She will come up to the cage for you to love and pet her head. She just loves head rubs. She would be great in any home

    Dixie is bonding with Thumper

  • Maxine ($60)

    Lionhead, Female

    BD: 9-6-21

    Weight: 4.5

Maxine has a sponsor to be spayed. If you want to adopt her before we get her in, you do not have to pay any extra costs, she will be spayed free thanks to a sponsor,

Maxine is a love bug. She takes a minute to trust you, but not long. She loves to lay around on her bed and loves to play when it’s play time. She is very content no matter what she is doing. I would love to see her have a mate. She really loves seeing the other bunnies and even likes to lay next to them through the cage. She is potty trained and a good girl. You would love having this sweet girl.

  • Millie ($60)

    Lion head, female, Rescue

    BD: 5-10-24

    Weight: 4.3

Millie and Chilla are bonded sisters

Millie seems to follow Chilla. She is very shy and timid in the beginning but once she sees Chilla interacting with you, then she will. She does hide more but she is is young and I think she just needs to have a stable life for these two girls do better if the routine stays the same, She is potty trained.

    Lionhead, Male, Rescue

    BD: 2-10-24

    Weight: 2.6

Emerson and Saylor are the parents of Emily and Sniffles.

Saylor hurt his noise so he is on hold till it heals. He is the only one who is not as shy as the other ones that came in with him. He is more on the active side and just wants to play. He is very smart and he can be a stinker. But he is full of life and looking to be in a home where he can be more active and have some fun. He is sweet but more of a floor bunny than one who wants to be held. Just a typical energic boy.

Update: Saylor had a bite on his noise. It is healing nicely but he will always have a visible spot on his nose.

  • Sully ($60)

    Double man, Male

    BD: 12-16-22

    Weight: 2.8

This little boy, is a special boy. he is super sweet, loves his cuddles and loves to be near you. He came in as a re-homer, but was found on the road about 5 months ago. He just really needs someone to love him. He is potty trained and he looks so depressed when he is in his cage. BD: 3-3-20

    Weight: 3.9

Thumper came in with 2 females, they were adopted but he is still here. He can be a sweet boy and let you hold him, but he would rather play. The family then ended up in the street and Checkers and Zorro were in a trunk of a car when they were dropped off, with Tux in the back seat in a small cage. Tux can be sweet. He seems to be using the litter pan most of the time. He does seem to have a time limit of being held and he might nibble when he wants down. Mini Rex, Female

    BD: 9-9-21

    Weight: 4.9

  • Maverick ($40)(ADOPTED)

    Californian, Male, rescue

    BD: 3-3-22

    Weight: 5.2

Maverick might not be the cutest bunny here, but he has one of the best personalities here. He comes when you call him, he will let you hold him forever, He was abandoned and all he wants is love. He kisses you and just a big snuggle bug. Please look past him having red eyes because he has a heart of gold. He needs your love. He using the litter pan sometimes and getting better at it, but pass that he would be your best friend if you would let him. He is great with kids too,

  • Chloe ($100)

    Dutch, Spayed, Female

    BD: 1-5-24

    Weight: 4.4

Chloe is a little shy and sometimes Timid when she first meets you. She will go into a corner when she sees you. We just got her spayed and she is doing better but she was very bored and getting into things she should not. When Hollander came in we put Chloe with him. Her hold time is getting better, she is starting to be sweet, like she was when she was younger. She really just needed a partner. I would highly suggest keeping Chloe and Hollander together. The two just match up nicely and it is helping both grow into loveable bunnies.

  • Bun-Bun ($80)

    Dutch, Neutered, Male

    BD: 10-31-20

    Weight: 4.6

Bun-Bun has been back a few times. He can be so sweet, but he is having a hard time being held. He also doesn’t seem to get along with females. He does better in a smaller area or outdoors. He is just a busy boy who likes to get into too much. He just needs to be loved and worked with. He was outdoors here at one point and loved it and thrived. He needs to go with someone who can work with him.

  • Hollander ($100)

    Dutch, Neutered, Male

    BD: 11-30-23

    Weight: 3.4

Hollander is super sweet, but very shy and timid. He came in so scared he was always hiding in a corner. But when I got him he would let me hold him for a long time. He always looked depressed so I put him with Chloe and now the two are shining. They are both using the litter pan, and do really good together. It has calmed Chloe down and making her more lovable too. I would highly suggest keeping the two together.
