RESCUES AND RE-HOMERS
LOOKING TO GO HOME WITH YOU!
First Steps
Prior to adopting a Rescue rabbit, an Adoption Request Form needs to be filled out. Please
E-mail us to get this Adoption Form to continue with adoption. An adoption application will be sent to you once we receive your request. Check your spam folder.
Include in your email, your name, your phone number (this way we can contact you when we send you the application) and if you live far away. We can try to help you find that perfect bunny. If you live far away, and are accepted to adopt, you can likely pick up your bunny on your appointment day.
If a bunny is not showing a bio, that means they are not ready yet, and still in the intake process. You still can adopt them. They just won’t be ready to leave the rescue for 3-7 days.
If a bunny is in pending status, they are already going through an adoption process. If a bunny is on hold, it could be it is showing signs of a sickness, is hurt or has babies, or is on old for a variety of other reasons. You can still adopt but they will have to stay here until we think they are ready for adoption.
All bunnies that leave here do have a 7-day guarantee bunniesrusrabbitry@hotmail.com
All adoption fees run from $30-$160 depending on age, breed and care of the bunny. All fees include starter food, hay and litter and a folder filled with information about your bunny.
We are working hard on getting most of the bunnies spayed/neutered. This is so exciting to add to our new adventure. Getting Bunnies spayed/neutered is a very high cost. Because of this, our adoption prices will also be going up. But this will help you have a better potty trained, happier, and healthier bunny. It depends on what the re-homer pays when dropping a bunny off on what a cost will be for a bunny. Please bear with us if you see adoption prices go up.
Thank you for supporting Bunnies-R-Us Rescue.
BREEDS
Lop-Earred Bunnies
-
Betty ($60)
Holland lop, Female
BD: 6-8-20
Weight: 5.8
Betty and Dale are a bonded pair
Betty is very shy and just in her own little world. She doesn’t like to be picked up much, she is not huge on playing she is just lazy and very happy being that way. She really enjoys Dales company but she does pick on him when she wants to be the boss. She would do fine in a quieter home where she can just be herself and sleep all day
-
Dale ($80)
Lion lop, Neutered male
BD: 1-8-21
Weight: 4.4
Dale and Betty are a bonded pair
Dale is a huge teddy bear, he is very loving, he will let you hold him, he doesn’t run from you, he always wants your attention he is very sweet and a great personality. He would do great in any home. He has no issues with other animals or kids
-
Diamond ($150)(pending)
Satin, lop mix, Spayed, Female, Rescue
BD: 5-5-24
Weight: 5.3
Diamond has a very strong personality. It seems that her family moved out and left her behind and she is struggling with this. She is very scared but improving. She has troubles of you picking her up, but once you have her she is okay. She just needs someone to love her full time and can work with her. She is fun to watch when playing. She needs to go to a home who can work with her, she would not be good with kids at this point
Update: Diamond is now spayed and since she has been here, she has improved a lot. She loves your attention and is starting to be a love bug
-
Leonard($125)
Holland lop, male
BD: 12-17-23
Weight: 4.9
Leonard is a super sweet boy, he is very friendly, loves his cuddles, loves kisses. He is laid back and potty trained. He is a great boy. I would love to see this boy neutered and get a playmate. He does really good with bunnies around him. He loves to play and a fun boy to watch. He would be great in any home.
-
Nymmers ($125)
Holland lop, Spayed, female
BD: 11-14-21
Weight: 4.9
Nymmers would be a great one to have spayed or to have a playmate that is neutered. She is very sassy, but also very potty trained. I don’t think she has been held much or worked with so she thinks it is okay to lunge at you. She can be sweet once you hold her, but it takes time to get there. She has not bit, but she lunges and could have that in her if she gets mad enough. She would not be good with kids at all, she needs to go to a home where someone can work with.
Update: Nymmers is now spayed, we will see if this helps her out. She is starting to act friendlier with us, she just has a strong personality. Once her hormones calm down I’m hoping to pair her up to see if this helps her out
-
Pepper ($125)
lop mix, Rescue
BD: 2-20-24
Weight: 3.7
Pepper is a sweet and very normal young boy. He was dumped in the park with Phoenix. Not sure if they were at the same house, but he is a good boy. He was attacked by a small animal and his ear was bit and so was his nose. His nose is healing and looking good. He loves to play but is sloppy on using the litter pan, although he is showing improvements while here. He would be a good bunny for anyone who wants to love him.
-
Roxy ($80)
Holland lop, Female
BD: 9-21-21
Weight: 5.5
Roxy is bonded with Buttons
Roxy is so laid back she is always looking depressed. She doesn’t play much, she just lays around and a very good girl, She will let you hold her when you want, she does not run from you, she is just a perfect bunny for anyone. She does need to work on using the litter pan, since she did come from an outdoor set up, but that is the only thing she needs work on. She is great with kids other animals, she just has no care in the world
-
Tabitha ($100)
Mini lop, Female
BD: 7-10-23
Weight: 6.5
Tabitha is bonding with Teddy
Tabitha loves her Teddy and I really want these two to stay together. Teddy is super sweet too but being a New Zeeland these two might get over looked. Tabitha is a little shy and doesn’t always like to be held but will lay next to you and give you lots of loving. She is totally potty trained. They both really need to find a home so they can roam and be happy. Don’t adopt a dog or cat these two are pretty much all you need. They are a cute couple. You can’t go wrong with these two
Lion Heads/lion head mix
-
Aidan ($100)
Lion head, lop mix, Neutered, Male
BD: 12-17-23
Weight: 7.3
is bonded with Addison
Aiden is shy and not huge on hugs. He is just a normal bunny. He can be sweet and very content as long as he is with Addison. He doesn’t play much just laid back and lazy. He would be good in a place where he can roam and really shine. He is a big boy and still young so he has a lot to learn and one thing is learn to trust. He is warming up and the more he is worked with the better he will be. He would do better with someone who has had bunnies prior.
-
Chilla ($60)

BD: 5-10-24
Weight: 4.7
Chilla and Millie are bonded sisters
Chilla is very laid back, she loves to chew on timothy hay logs. She is a little shy and needs time to adjust, but she comes out of it pretty fast. She just needs to stick to her routine so she knows what is next then she is fine. She might out grow this as she gets older. She is potty trained. She just needs someone to love her
-
Bandit ($60)(pending)
Lion head, Male, Rescue
BD: 5-10-24
Weight: 3.7
Bandit and Bear are brothers, but they are not together. He is very shy compare to his brother and needs time to adjust. Bandit is calmer but still likes to play a lot. He loves his toys and tunnels. He just will need time to adjust, once he trusts you, he will let you love on him. He might do better in a home with calmer kids.

-
Cedar ($60)
Lion head, male, rescue
BD: 1-17-23
Weight: 3.9
This sweetest boy ever was found on the streets at a busy intersection when someone found him. Thank goodness he is the sweetest boy and didn’t run in front of the cars. He is just wanting to be loved. He has a very loving side. For living outdoors he keeps his cage pretty clean. He would be a great addition to any home
-
Checkers ($40)
Lionhead, Male, Rescue
BD: 2-28-23
Weight: 2.5
Checkers had a rough life before coming here. He was living in a home that had over 15 animals, bunnies, dogs and cats. The family then ended up in the street and Checkers and Zorro were in a trunk of a car when they were dropped off. Tux was in the back seat in a small cage. Checkers has come a long ways since he has been here. He is starting to be so sweet. He lets you pick him up, and he loves taking treats from your hand. He might run when you first open the cage, but as soon as you have him, he will melt into your hands. He just wants to be loved. He would do great in any home.
-
Millie ($60)
Lion head, female, Rescue
BD: 5-10-24
Weight: 4.3
Millie and Chilla are bonded sisters
Millie seems to follow Chilla. She is very shy and timid in the beginning but once she sees Chilla interacting with you, then she will. She does hide more but she is is young and I think she just needs to have a stable life for these two girls do better if the routine stays the same, She is potty trained.
-
Sadie ($150)
Double mane lion head or possible angora, female, Rescue
Sadie is precious. She was not loved at all, the family dropped her off at my door saying a child got her from the pet store and then dropped her off with the step family who couldn’t care for her because of health issues. They were going to dump her in the streets when they suddenly came past my sign in the yard. How scary is that. She was starving and couldn’t get enough to eat the beginning. She is super friendly she is cuter then her photo. She really needs someone to show her real love. She would be great in any home
BD: 9-22-24
Weight: 2.6
-
Saylor ($60)
Lionhead, Male, Rescue
BD: 2-10-24
Weight: 2.6
Saylor is more on the active side and just wants to play. He is very smart and he can be a stinker. But he is full of life and looking to be in a home where he can be more active and have some fun. He is sweet but more of a floor bunny than one who wants to be held. Just a typical energic boy.
-
Tux ($40)
Lionhead Dwarf, Male
BD: 2-28-23
Weight: 2.2
Tux had a rough life before coming here. He was living in a home that had over 15 animals, bunnies, dogs and cats. The family then ended up in the street and Checkers and Zorro were in a trunk of a car when they were dropped off, with Tux in the back seat in a small cage. Tux can be sweet. He seems to be using the litter pan most of the time. He does seem to have a time limit of being held and he might nibble when he wants down. But he just needs a home who can give him extra care and love.
Rex/Mini Rex
-
Addison ($60)
Mini rex, lion head mix, female
BD: 12-17-23
Weight: 4.6
bonded with Aiden
Addison is shy but laid back, she can be a cuddler but she is happy in her cage. She doesn’t play much and a little on the lazy side. She and Aiden match up good for they thrive on each other and have the same personality. Addison is young and she will thrive if she has someone to pay attention to her more. She can be sweet. She would do better in a home that knows bunnies.
-
Bonita ($40)
Mini Rex, Female
BD: 9-9-21
Weight: 4.9
Bonita is a sweet girl. She was used to free roaming and is litter trained. Her mom loved her but was in an accident where she was unable to care for her. Bonita was holding a grudge, not understanding why she couldn’t do things she did before with her mom. It is taking her a little time to trust people again but once she gets there with you, she is super friendly. Not huge on being held, but doesn’t mind. She loves floor time with you, and she will “give you five” when you ask. She is super smart, potty trained and looking for her forever home.
-
Harlow ($40)
Mini Rex, Male
BD: 6-24-22
Weight: 5.1
Harlow is a sweet boy. He loves to play and does not mind being held. Loud sounds can make him jumpy. When you try to get him out the cage, it takes a minute for him to trust you before he comes out. But once he knows he is safe, he can be a snuggle bug. He would do better in a quieter home or with someone who can work with him. He has that very soft Rex fur so you can’t help petting him for hours.
-
Shayne ($30)
Mini Rex, Male, Rescue
BD: 6-6-22
Weight: 4.6
Shayne came in with a few other bunnies. They were rescued from being turned into meat bunnies, but they were held a lot by young children. Shayne took a long time to trust people and is still working on it. But he has a sweet side. He wants to show you. It will just take some time to adjust. He has his days when using the litter pan. He does better if he is not bored. He just needs things to help keep him busy. He would do better in a home who knows bunnies.

Once she gets spayed she will even be better. She can be sloppy using her litter pan and days she might do good, She just gets bored fast and needs to have more room to run and play.
