RESCUES AND RE-HOMERS
LOOKING TO GO HOME WITH YOU!
First Steps
Prior to adopting a Rescue rabbit, an Adoption Request Form needs to be filled out. Please
E-mail us to get this Adoption Form to continue with adoption. An adoption application will be sent to you once we receive your request. Check your spam folder.
Include in your email, your name, your phone number (this way we can contact you when we send you the application) and if you live far away. We can try to help you find that perfect bunny. If you live far away, and are accepted to adopt, you can likely pick up your bunny on your appointment day.
If a bunny is not showing a bio, that means they are not ready yet, and still in the intake process. You still can adopt them. They just won’t be ready to leave the rescue for 3-7 days.
If a bunny is in pending status, they are already going through an adoption process. If a bunny is on hold, it could be it is showing signs of a sickness, is hurt or has babies, or is on old for a variety of other reasons. You can still adopt but they will have to stay here until we think they are ready for adoption.
All bunnies that leave here do have a 7-day guarantee bunniesrusrabbitry@hotmail.com
All adoption fees run from $30-$160 depending on age, breed and care of the bunny. All fees include starter food, hay and litter and a folder filled with information about your bunny.
We are working hard on getting most of the bunnies spayed/neutered. This is so exciting to add to our new adventure. Getting Bunnies spayed/neutered is a very high cost. Because of this, our adoption prices will also be going up. But this will help you have a better potty trained, happier, and healthier bunny. It depends on what the re-homer pays when dropping a bunny off on what a cost will be for a bunny. Please bear with us if you see adoption prices go up.
Thank you for supporting Bunnies-R-Us Rescue.

Celia is doing better and really starting to enjoy our company. She loves to play and is even using the litter pan. She is young and can learn to trust. She can be a silly girl and she just needs to tough love. She might be okay with younger kids but she will need an adjustment period.

Diamond has a very strong personality. It seems that her family moved out and left her behind and she is struggling with this. She is very scared but improving. She has troubles of you picking her up, but once you have her she is okay. She just needs someone to love her full time and can work with her. She is fun to watch when playing. She needs to go to a home who can work with her, she would not be good with kids at this point
Update: Diamond is now spayed and since she has been here, she has improved a lot. She loves your attention and is starting to be a love bug

-
Nymmers ($125)
Holland lop, Spayed, female
BD: 11-14-21
Weight: 4.9
Nymmers is very sassy, but also very potty trained. I don’t think she has been held much or worked with so she thinks it is okay to lunge at you. She can be sweet once you hold her, but it takes time to get there. She has not bit, but she lunges and could have that in her if she gets mad enough. She would not be good with kids at all, she needs to go to a home where someone can work with.
Update: Nymmers is now spayed, we will see if this helps her out. She is starting to act friendlier with us, she just has a strong personality. Once her hormones calm down I’m hoping to pair her up to see if this helps her out. Her personality did not change as much as we wanted once we got her spayed, but still working on it

Zoloft is more picker on how you put things in her cage. She is more on the lazy side but she does take treats and food out of your hand like it’s her last. We are working on this. She loves to be held but it takes a little to get her out of the cage. She had an awful life and a terrible diet so she loves to eat. She has a sweet heart but she will need some work before you see it. She might do better with someone who has had bunnies prior

I am thinking she could use a mate. Because of her size and age I’m not sure if spaying her would help. She would need to be worked with and let her know, her behaviors are not okay. BD: 10-31-21
Weight: 4.6
Poor Bun-Bun has gone through so much, he was one of my first rescues here, had a home for a few years and since he has been back, he is not the bunny I knew and loved. He was abused at one point and he is having troubles trusting anyone. He has been adopted a few times to try and bond him, but he is aggressive with other bunnies and is showing aggressiveness towards the owners. He really just needs someone who can work with him, for he can be so sweet, he just is so afraid of getting hurt and abused again. He needs to go to a home that has experience and has no other animals.

Chloe ($100)
Dutch, Spayed, Female
BD: 1-5-24
Weight: 4.4
Chloe is a little shy and sometimes Timid when she first meets you. She will go into a corner when she sees you. We just got her spayed and she is doing better but she was very bored and getting into things she should not. When Hollander came in we put Chloe with him. Her hold time is getting better, she is starting to be sweet, like she was when she was younger. She really just needed a partner. I would highly suggest keeping Chloe and Hollander together. The two just match up nicely and it is helping both grow into loveable bunnies.

Hollander ($100)
Dutch, Neutered, Male
BD: 11-30-23
Weight: 5.1
Hollander is super sweet, but very shy and timid. He came in so scared he was always hiding in a corner. But when I got him he would let me hold him for a long time. He always looked depressed so I put him with Chloe and now the two are shining. They are both using the litter pan, and do really good together. It has calmed Chloe down and making her more lovable too. I would highly suggest keeping the two together.
